Talia Rosko was only 9 weeks old when doctors discovered that her eyes were a strange yellow color!

Talia Rosko was only 9 weeks old when doctors discovered that her eyes were a strange yellow color. After several tests, it became clear that the little girl has a disease that affects her life, called biliary atresia. This makes her liver stop working. Talia was immediately put on the list of patients in need of a transplant, and the family began a long wait in which they hoped to be lucky.

Around this time, George and Farra Rosko, Talia’s parents, met 22-year-old Kiersten Miles and hired her as a nanny for Talia and their other two children. After only a few weeks of work, Miles fell in love with the little girl and began to think of ways to help her.

Then she realized that… It could save Talia’s life!

The babysitter knew that her blood type was 0 and that it was compatible with all other blood groups, so after talking to the girl’s parents, she decided to donate some of her liver to Talia.

Here is what the child’s mother confesses: “I was completely amazed. I didn’t know she had such a good soul – I realized now that she was. She is a true angel on earth; I know it sounds stupid, but it really is ”.

As soon as she woke up from the operation, Miles asked about Talia and she was assured that the operation was a success and that she would be able to see her soon. Miles confesses that when she heard this she started crying out loud. A few days later the two actually saw each other, the little one opened her eyes and smiled at them, and Miles says that “That made everything worthwhile!”.

It’s amazing that a simple 22-year-old student was able to make such an unselfish gesture for a child who can’t even speak yet! If we all loved more like Miles does, this world would come to life in an instant!

Don’t forget to share this wonderful story about sacrifice today! We need beautiful life stories!
