Friends of Kate Middleton say that the way the Princess was forced to tell the public about her cancer was “almost desperate.” This came after weeks of rumors about her whereabouts and health.
The Princess of Wales shared an honest video on Friday night in which she talked about her heartbreaking diagnosis. She said she had wanted to take some time to first talk about it with her children. Reports say the video came out at the same time that the kids’ school was on break for Easter.
Since Kate spent 13 days in the hospital for what was called at the time a “planned abdominal procedure,” many crazy claims have been made about her. Now that everyone knows the truth, hopefully this disgusting rumors won’t come up again. However, Princess friends are said to be mad that she has to deal with the rumors when she is at her weakest.
The future Queen looked calm and strong as she made the dramatic news of her cancer diagnosis late last week. Kate said that tests done after the surgery she had in January on her abdomen showed that she has cancer. The exact type of cancer or stage it is in is still unknown.
As was already said, the video’s release is thought to have happened at the same time that Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis finished school. This means that the Wales family can now spend the Easter break together at home.
Reports say that Kate’s statement was also partly forced on her by the constant stream of rumors that have followed her recovery.
It’s true that the Princess has been the subject of a lot of media attention, but it may be the public’s scrutiny that has been the most difficult.
People were getting antsy because Kate hadn’t been photographed or seen on video since Christmas. The Palace wouldn’t say anything, which made people think that the royals were trying to hide something.

“She wants to be able to keep up a normal and busy schedule as much as possible.”
