An 80-year-old man brings his wife food each morning to the nursing home.

A guy who is 80 years old insists on bringing his wife food each morning to the nursing home where she is staying. In response to the question “Why is his wife living in a retirement home?” Everyone was taken aback by his response.

Sometimes in life, we will meet someone and have an immediate realization that they are the one that we would like to spend the rest of our lives with. On the other hand, not everyone is blessed with the opportunity to meet their ideal partner during the journey we call life; so, when you do, you should ensure that you firmly grasp that person and never let go of their side.

A guy in his eighties visited his wife, who was residing in a nursing facility, bringing her breakfast and flowers. Someone who saw him doing this every morning questioned him about his wife and the reason she was staying at the facility. He responded by saying that he didn’t know why she was there. The man’s response was that she was afflicted with Alzheimer’s disease.

The question that the inquisitive individual posed to the elderly man was, “Would your Wife be worried if one day you didn’t come and bring her breakfast?” After that, the man gave a response saying, “She doesn’t remember. Even if she did, she wouldn’t recognize me because it’s been five years since we’ve seen one other.

The guy continued to ask questions, which caused the first person to become even more surprised. “So why do you bring breakfast to your wife every morning, even though she doesn’t even recognize you?” The loyal spouse responded with a grin on his face, saying, “She doesn’t know who I am, but I know who she is.”
