The mother of two who was killed in the Kansas City shooting has been identified. Chiefs coach Andy Reid comforts a teen by telling his story.

The person who was shot and killed at the Kansas City Chiefs championship parade has been named.
The Kansas City Star says Lisa Lopez-Galvan was a well-liked DJ and a loved mother of two. As of Thursday morning, police had still confirmed only one death, even though some news sources said two people had died yesterday afternoon.

Lopez-Galvan’s friends told The Kansas City Star that she had died and that the mother of two died while she was in surgery. Lopez-Galvan had a gunshot wound in her stomach.

Lisa Lopez, Lopez-Galvan’s friend, told The Kansas City Star, “She was the most wonderful and beautiful person.” “She was a DJ in the area. She was in all of the weddings. Everyone knows her. She had so much life in her.”

During this very sad time, our thoughts are with Lopez-Galvan’s family.

The Star also said that Andy Reid, the head coach of the Chiefs, stayed to comfort a scared teen during the shooting.

News sources say that Gabe Wallace and his friend Hank Hunter were outside of Union Station when the shooting started. Gabe and Hank, who are sophomores in high school, got separated in the chaos, but they quickly found each other again and told each other how much they love each other.

Gabe’s forehead was covered in blood from when he fell while trying to jump a fence to get away from danger.

Hank told the Star, “We were right up on the front of the fences, far left side, like right above the barricade.” He was talking about how scary it was. “… We heard gunshots and heard rumors. Everyone began to kneel down. “And my friend Gabe and I jumped over the fences.”

After hearing the “boom, boom, like real quick,” Gabe heard a security guard yelling at him. “The guard told them, ‘Get over that fence right now!'” “There is a shooter.””

After his “face nailed the concrete,” another security guard led him into Union Station, where Andy Reid and other people were comforting people.

Gabe told The Star, “Andy Reid was trying to make me feel better, which was nice.” “… He gave me a hug and asked, “Are you okay, man?” Are you okay? Please take a deep breath. He was really nice and everything.”

After the team was quickly rushed to safety, Donna Kelce also went back to Union Station. She told The Star, “Everyone on the team got us out of there really quickly.”
