Grandson refuses to let family put grandma in a nursing home

Chris, who plays music and makes videos, has always wanted to be famous on YouTube.

And he tried different types of content. But he didn’t know that his grandmother was the key to his success.

Chris, his family, and Lola moved to the United States from Tarlac in the Philippines. They brought a piece of their home country with them.

Lola used to teach elementary school in the Philippines for more than twenty years. She is now the star of Chris’s TikTok videos, in which they talk in their native “Kapampangan” language.

In 2015, when Lola was 88 years old, I decided to take care of her full-time.

Chris was aware of his place.

Chris had to step in when he had to decide whether to hire a caregiver or send her to an old age home.

He couldn’t stand the thought of strangers taking care of his Lola or living somewhere he didn’t know.
Every part of Chris’s life with his grandmother shows how much he loves her.

He was aware that taking care of her would need all of his love, attention, and patience, but he was ready to do it.

Since 2014, he’s been posting pictures of his grandmother. In 2019, he started vlogging their daily activities to show the world how close they are.

You can see into their world through their vlogs, which are full of sweet moments.

Chris does everything for Lola, from making her bed with great care to making sure she stays hydrated and feels loved.
He doesn’t shy away from the harder parts of being a caregiver, like getting ready for bath time and changing diapers. He shares these times with honesty and compassion.

But it’s not always simple.

Chris recently talked on a local Philippine channel about the problems they are having, especially since Lola is forgetting things more often.

For Chris, it breaks his heart that she doesn’t always recognize him.

Still, he sticks to his promise, reminding us all to enjoy every moment with our loved ones.

The story of Chris shows how strong love and loyalty can be.
You can follow their journey on their TikTok vlogs and Chris’s YouTube channel. He does everything he can to make sure Lola is safe and happy.

It’s a beautiful reminder to love our families deeply and cherish the time we spend with them.

Share this with your family and friends.
