A mother was caught stealing $ 36 worth of food from the store.

Two police officers were called to a store in a large US city, where a woman had been caught stealing from shelves.

Once there, officers Keith Bradshaw and Candace Spragins found a woman who had stolen $ 36 worth of food. She was crying and apologizing after returning the stolen food.

He told the police that he had three adopted children and that he had nothing to feed them. The woman had suffered a severe blow to the head and she could not work for a while, and her children had not eaten for three days.

The officers drove her home, opened the refrigerator, and found that there was only a piece of cheese in it.

Unfortunately, the two policemen had to file a criminal case against the woman, under the accusation of theft.

But knowing her story, they made a decision that shocked her mother.

They returned to the store and filled a shopping cart with food.

The woman said the food would last her for weeks.
