Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s daughter is all grown up

Even though it’s typical for children to resemble their parents, it stands out when the parent in question is Beyoncé, also known as the Queen of Front Page News.

Recent images of Blue Ivy Carter, Beyoncé, and Jay Z’s infant, have drawn comparisons to the singer of Single Ladies. And even if you don’t notice the family resemblance (you’re in the minority there), Blue’s maturity ought to convince you to go along.

Pictures of Blue Ivy cheering on the Warriors during the NBA Finals at San Francisco’s Chase Center immediately drew comparisons to her famous mother, who was at the time a rising celebrity.

Even the earrings and lip gloss (which, granted, aren’t genes but rather excellent taste) are strikingly similar between the two, as anyone who has spent any time online will agree. An image of Blue Ivy and her mother was quickly compared by Beyoncé fans online to highlight the similarities.

When Blue was younger, she was frequently mistaken for her father, but as one Twitter user put it, “Blue Ivy stole Beyoncé’s complete face” these days.

Blue Ivy is literally Beyoncé’s twin, according to one Twitter user, who also added: “Sorry, had to do a double-take when I saw Blue Ivy at the NBA game.”

“Wow, wow, wow,” a different supporter exclaimed, “had to convince myself that wasn’t the 90s for a second, but Beyoncé truly said copy and paste with Blue Ivy.”

Jay Z holding Blue Ivy’s arm during the game (the two were courtside at the Golden State Warriors game against the Boston Celtics) was a really sweet moment despite their apparent differences.

Even though most of us would give our left arm for a celebrity to do this to us, Blue views it as just another unpleasant parenting event that she is ready to forget. She can be heard yelling, “Dad, my hair,” as she struggles to get free of his grip.

Watching this is exciting to us.
