Catherine Zeta-Jones can’t hold back her tears

Following a fatal motorcycle accident, actor Treat Williams passed away sadly. On social media, numerous celebrities have offered their condolences to his family.

His agent Barry McPherson said that the 71-year-old had passed away as a result of the incident in a statement on Monday, June 13.

John Travolta was one of the first to pay tribute to the late actor, recalling their Broadway adventures in the productions of Grease and Over Here.

In his essay, he claims, “Treat Williams and I got our start together in NYC playing in two Broadway plays, Grease and Over Here.

I’m very sorry, treat. I have you and your family on my mind. We won’t forget you. Thanks, John.

In 1996’s The Phantom, Williams and Catherine Zeta-Jones co-starred. Zeta-Jones tweeted a still from the movie with the brief phrase “R.I.P. Dearest Treat Williams.”

Kim Cattrall, who co-starred with the murdered actor and father of two in the 1999 television movie 36 Hours to Die, tweeted, “I’m in shock!”

Sharon Stone sent the following message alongside a screenshot of a news item announcing his passing: “Sad news, rest in peace, brother.”

In a post including a picture of the actor in his youth, Emily VanCamp, who played Williams’ co-star in the movie Everwood, stated, “The numerous times we worked together was always fantastic and I was always thrilled for the next time. Treat, I’m extending my sincere regards to your family. Get going, my friend.

In The Empire Strikes Back (1980), Mark Hamill appeared alongside him as an uncredited storm base warrior, and he uploaded a photo from the set with the message, “Just heard the sad news that the world has lost @Rtreatwilliams. Such a wonderful person, such a gifted actor, and such a dear friend. I am hurt. #RIP_Pal.”

James Woods, who co-starred with Treat in the 1984 epic crime drama, recalls, “Treat and I spent months filming Once Upon a Time in America in Rome.”

It may be lonely on the road after a long shoot, but his unwavering good humor and sense of humor were a blessing. I had a real affection for him, and I’m devastated by his departure. R.I.P., #TreatWilliams.

Billy Baldwin praised about the celebrity’s intelligence, talent, humor, charisma, success, good looks, and compassion in a lengthy homage to him. The phrase “a golden heart.”
