Fans broke down in tears

Celine Dion cried in the trailer for her new documentary about her health problems.

The 56-year-old star was told in 2022 that she has Stiff Person Syndrome and has been fighting it ever since.

Celine put out a trailer for her upcoming documentary, I Am: Celine Dion, which will be out on June 25.

Although the singer didn’t perform for a while, she has been filming behind the scenes for Amazon to talk about her health problems.

People with Stiff Person Syndrome have problems with their nervous system, which can lead to painful spasms that get worse over time.

In the trailer for “I Am: Celine Dion,” the singer cried about her health and said she would crawl to her shows.

“I’ve been diagnosed with a very rare neurological disorder and I wasn’t ready to say anything before,” she told the film crew.

“But I’m ready now.”

During several shots of Celine taking her medicine in the trailer, the sound of a 911 call could be heard.

When Celine said she had to cancel shows because of her health, she started to cry.

“Cancelling a show is hard, but doing one is easy,” she said through tears.

“Every day I work hard, but I have to say it’s been hard.” That place and those people are so important to me.

I will walk if I can’t run (or jump). How about crawling if I can’t walk? Furthermore, “I will not stop,” she said.

THE DIAGNOSIS
Celine first said that she had the illness in 2022, when she had to cancel a few concerts because of it.

She told her fans that she had a rare autoimmune disease and then stepped out of the spotlight.

It was Stiff Person Syndrome day, and Celine posted a picture on Instagram of herself with her three sons, René-Charles, Nelson, and Eddy. She shares these sons with her late husband René Angélil.

“Overcoming this autoimmune disorder has been one of the hardest things I’ve ever done, but I’m still determined to get back on stage and live a normal life,” she wrote in the post’s caption.

“Thank you so much for all the love and support from my kids, family, team, and all of you!

“I want to encourage and help everyone around the world who has been affected by SPS.” You’re capable, I assure you. We can get it done! After that, she said, “Love Celine xx.”

Many people don’t know about her syndrome, but her documentary shows how hard it is for her to deal with it.

There isn’t a known cure yet, and Celine wants to start performing again.

The show’s Amazon page said that the documentary was a close look into Celine’s private battle.

“I Am: Celine Dion gives us a raw and honest behind-the-scenes look at the iconic superstar’s struggle with a life-altering illness,” said it.

“Serving as a love letter to her fans, this inspirational documentary highlights the music that has guided her life while also showcasing the resilience of the human spirit.”
