Natural Ways to Get Rid of Roaches Approved by Experts
Natasha Wright, a certified entomologist and technical director at Braman Termite & Pest Elimination, says that you don’t need strong chemicals to get rid of cockroaches. Here are five natural ways to do it:

  1. Oil of peppermint
Peppermint oil is often used to get rid of pests, and it can also be used to get rid of cockroaches. Mix 15 drops of peppermint oil with 10 ounces of water to make a peppermint oil spray. Spray this mixture around places where roaches are present. You can use it around kids and pets without worrying.
  2. Soap for dishes
You can clean an area rug or get rid of coffee stains with dish soap. It can also suffocate and kill cockroaches. Spray four tablespoons of dish soap mixed with one liter of water in places where you see cockroaches.
  3. Ground coffee
Don’t throw away your used coffee grounds; instead, use them to keep pests away. The smell of coffee grounds draws cockroaches to it, which makes it a great trap. Coffee grounds should be put in small paper cups and then put in jars with water. These should be placed near walls or baseboards where you’ve seen roaches. They won’t be able to get out of the trap because of the smell.
  4. Lemonade
Roaches stay away from lemons because they naturally kill germs. Fill a bucket with water and add two to three tablespoons of lemon juice. This will help you mop and wash areas where roaches are a problem.

The only question now is which one will you try first now that you know about these natural remedies.
