Nicole Kidman Speaks Out About Her Children With Ex-Husband Tom Cruise, Connor and Isabella

Expressing what she truly believes. In a recent interview, Nicole Kidman—who never discusses her adopted children with her ex-husband Tom Cruise—spoke candidly about their connection.

Regarding her daughter Isabella, 25, and son Connor, 23, she told Australia’s Who magazine on Thursday, November 8. “I’m very private about that.” “I have to safeguard every one of those connections.

I really believe that my children are the reason I am here, and I would sacrifice my life for them.”

After the couple’s 2001 divorce, Kidman’s adopted children remained with their father, and although their relationship has not always been smooth, she continues to love them without conditions.

“They are grownups now. They have the capacity to choose for themselves. It is my responsibility as a mother to love them even though they have chosen to become Scientologists, she said.

And I exemplify that tolerance because that’s my belief: regardless of what your child does, they are loved, and they need to know that love is out there and that I’m willing to give it to them.

That’s why I think it’s crucial: I think it’s terrible to take that away from a child and to sever it from any family, relationship, or child. Thus, it is our responsibility as parents to always show love without conditions.

From 1990 to 2001, the Boy Erased actress and 56-year-old Cruise were wed. She had already told Extra in January 2013 about Isabella and Connor. At the time, she stated, “I believe that everyone has their own path, and when they find their path, it’s such a relief as a parent.”

The siblings are “full-fledged Scientologists and very much under the influence and guidance of their father,” according to Scientology specialist Tony Ortega, who told Us in October, despite the Oscar winner’s continued concern for Isabella and Connor.

Kidman went on to marry Keith Urban in 2006 and the couple share daughters Sunday, 10, and Faith, 7.
