She left Los Angeles for a simple life in a cottage in the Catskills. Take a look at her happy life now.
She is best known for her role as Laura Ingalls on Little House on the Prairie. Melissa Gilbert has left Hollywood for the Catskills, where life is simpler. Melissa was born in Los Angeles in 1964. She was adopted by Paul Gilbert and Barbara Crane.
She was in a short movie called “One Smart Fellow” and TV shows like “Secrets and Lies” and “The Night Shift” in 2015. She also wrote a book about her life called Prairie Tale: A Memoir. In it, she talks about her time on Little House on the Prairie.

Tim Busfield and Melissa Busfield moved to New York from Michigan a few years ago. They bought a cabin for hunting and planned to live on a farm with horses, chickens, and goats. But the pandemic made their plans take longer than they had planned.
Even though it was hard, they now live in the cabin and have completely fixed it up. There was old stuff left behind by the previous owners that they got rid of. They also dealt with rodents and mold and fixed plumbing problems. They put in red vinyl chairs and use a wood fire to heat the house.

Melissa and Tim grow their own vegetables and fruits. Melissa likes how quiet their home is and is up for the challenges it brings. She smiles while she does her work and ends the day with a cup of tea.
Even though their life isn’t like Hollywood, Melissa is happy and content in their cozy Catskills cottage.
