The little girl came from kindergarten, emptied her piggy bank in the living room, and put all the money in her bag.

Sometimes, the innocence and kindness of a child can leave us speechless. This is the story of a 5-year-old girl named Sunshine Oelfke, who made a gesture that warmed everyone’s hearts.
One day, the little girl returned home from kindergarten and went straight to her piggy bank, where she had raised some money. She spilled the contents of the purse in the middle of the room and started counting her money, then put them all in a bag and put them in her backpack.

Her grandmother, Jackie, thought the girl was playing, but when she found the money in her backpack she asked the little girl what she wanted to do with the money.
Sunshine told her grandmother that in kindergarten today, she noticed that a colleague of hers, Layla, did not have the money to buy milk. So he thought of taking the money from his girlfriend’s purse so she could buy milk like all the other children.
“She does not receive milk, because her mother does not have money for milk, but I have and I want to give it to her,” said the girl.

Grandma was extremely impressed with the girl’s gesture, so she went to the school where she met the teacher and gave her the $ 30 that the girl had collected.
Grandma Jackie told a local newspaper that her niece’s gesture melted her heart. The woman also announced that her niece grew up in a difficult atmosphere because the girl’s mother had problems with drugs and kept going in and out of prison.

It seems that at that kindergarten there are at least 20 children whose parents cannot afford to buy milk for their children.
The next day, when Sunshine returned from kindergarten, she was very happy: “All the kids in my class got milk today!” said the little girl.

After Grandma told the whole story on Facebook, people were very impressed and started donating money. In just 3 weeks, $ 6,000 was raised for the milk of the children in that kindergarten.

Grandma Jackie added: “My niece now doesn’t understand what impact she managed to make and how well she managed to do to the children who needed it.”
