This baby’s survival was a real miracle and an act of God.

They heard unusual noises when they were strolling in the woods close to their Forsyth County home with three adolescent girls. They were unsure of what animal might be producing those strange noises that sounded like a newborn sobbing.

They then exchanged glances as though they were unsure whether a baby could possibly be present in the middle of the woods. They still chose to call their dad for assistance despite how odd that sounded. And it turned out to be the best choice they’d ever made.

The scene startled their father, Alan Ragatz, when he arrived. He discovered a tiny infant in a plastic bag still attached to its umbilical chord.
The infant girl was only a few hours old, and she wouldn’t have survived if it weren’t for Alan and his girls.

One of Alan’s kids, Kayla, recalled that faithful day: “(We) grabbed our flashlights and we’re driving around and we’re, like, ‘That doesn’t sound like an animal.'”

They reportedly informed Alan how they thought they heard infant cries, and Alan reportedly responded, “That’s got to be impossible. It’s a young raccoon, deer, or other animal.

But thankfully, his daughters were right, and because to their rapid actions, the tiny infant was saved.
“We descended and raised it. We contacted 911 because there was a helpless infant wrapped in a plastic bag, Alan continued. She was still alive. We took her sobbing as a sign that things were going well. It might have been worse. My girls are to blame for this. They were the ones who persisted.

Authorities were informed, and the infant was brought to a secure location where she received the necessary assistance and treatment.

Without a doubt, the discovery of this youngster was a result of divine intervention. Sheriff Ron Freeman praised the Ragatz family and stated, “If it weren’t for these citizens, we’d be having a different discussion.

The baby’s survival, whom they named India, was truly miraculous and “an act of God” because, despite the way her mother had abandoned her, she had not been hurt.
As word of the adorable India spread, several people expressed an interest in adopting her. In actuality, over a thousand people were prepared to provide her with the home that her original parents were unable to do so. According to Tom Rawlings, head of the state’s Division of Family and Children Services, “We’ve had literally thousands of people come forward wanting to adopt Baby India across the country and other parts of North America.”

Princess India is thankfully doing well right now and can’t wait to meet her new parents. She is putting on weight and beaming frequently. She’s a happy baby who enjoys being held and singing to, and she’s doing well overall right now,” Rawlings continued.

For the time being, the entire nation is extending its love and best wishes to the young heroine who didn’t give up trying to save her life and did everything in her power to have her cries for assistance heard.

We can only hope for baby India’s future success.
